About UsLions Clubs are part of community life, in the cities and in the country. Clubs
are easily identified by their distinctive Logo, the trademark of our International Association, and the 'We Serve'; motto. Lions Australia is part of an international association, filled with people who are joined by the common desire to make their communities better, by using their creativity, enthusiasm and energy. Membership is open to all people of the community in good standing.
The Golden Valley Keperra Lions Club was chartered in April 1972 and has grown to be a large and dynamic organisation of volunteers who devote a portion of their spare time to helping those in the community who need their support. The members of our club enjoy a rewarding mix of social and project activities depending on their capabilities and interests. The Club's area is in the Pine Rivers district of Moreton Bay Regional Council and is approximately 15 kilometres north west of the capital city of Brisbane in sunny sub-tropical Queensland on the eastern seaboard of Australia. Our club has sponsored two Lioness clubs, one of which is a first of it's kind as it's membership is made up of physically and intellectually challenged young men and women. We have also sponsored a Leo Club at a local school. Recently we sponsored the Brisbane Inner North Lions Club. Brisbane Inner North We hold Dinner Meetings on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Arana Leagues Club, Dawson Parade, Keperra 6.30pm for 7.00pm. The club also has a Den which is a former Scout Hall at Arana Hills. This venue is used for Board Meetings, social events and sometimes as an alternative to the Leagues Club for Dinner Meetings.
